Iraqi Deputy Speaker of Parliament Farhad Amin Atroushi has condemned the terrorist attack targeting a church in Jordan’s Karak Governorate, denouncing acts of violence that endanger innocent civilians and target places of worship.
In a statement, Atroushi’s media office said Iraq stands in full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in confronting terrorism and extremism. He emphasized the importance of expanding security cooperation and coordination between the two countries to counter terrorist threats in all their forms and strengthen regional peace and stability.
Atroushi also extended his condolences to the victims’ families, wished the injured a swift recovery, and expressed his hopes for continued security, peace and stability in Jordan.
