Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to implementing its program and fulfilling the aspirations of the Iraqi people following the completion of the ministerial cabinet, stressing that an accelerated phase of work is now underway.
In a statement, Al-Zaidi said the government would intensify its efforts in the coming period to advance its priorities and respond to citizens’ demands, emphasizing the importance of sustained work and determination to achieve its objectives.
He noted that Iraq had faced complex domestic and international circumstances over recent months, adding that the ongoing regional war continues to place exceptional economic pressure on the country. He also highlighted persistent security challenges that require heightened vigilance and a strong sense of responsibility.
