Rafidain Bank has expanded the use of digital banking services by enabling employees and retirees to apply for financial advances through the SuperQi application, as part of ongoing efforts to simplify banking procedures and improve access to financial services in Iraq.
The application process is organized into daily batches of 5,000 requests, allowing the bank to manage submissions systematically while carrying out the necessary administrative reviews and eligibility checks before approving loans.
Moving loan applications to a digital platform can reduce the need for customers to visit bank branches, ease congestion associated with traditional paperwork, and save time and effort for employees and retirees. It also reflects a broader shift toward technology-driven financial services.
The initiative supports the expansion of financial inclusion by encouraging the use of electronic cards, mobile applications and modern payment solutions. Such services can help make banking more accessible while improving the efficiency of routine financial transactions.
Customers are advised to submit their applications exclusively through official channels and avoid unauthorized intermediaries who claim they can guarantee approval or expedite the process in exchange for payment. All applications remain subject to the bank’s eligibility requirements and verification procedures.
The initiative represents another step toward modernizing Iraq’s banking sector. Continued investment in digital infrastructure, data protection and efficient application processing will be essential to ensuring reliable services and improving the customer experience.
