Najaf Criminal Court has issued rulings against 11 individuals convicted of drug trafficking offenses under Iraqi law.
The sentences range from six to ten years in prison, with the court also imposing financial penalties totaling nearly 100 million Iraqi dinars.
The rulings were issued under Article 28 of Iraq’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 50 of 2017.
