detainee accused of drug trafficking has escaped from a security facility in Baqubah, Diyala province, reportedly making his way out through a ventilation opening.
A security source said the incident occurred at a building operated by the Directorate of Narcotics Control near Al-Quds intersection. Security forces have deployed in the surrounding area and launched an investigation to establish the circumstances of the escape and intensify efforts to track down the fugitive.
