General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, Director of the Commander-in-Chief’s Office, met with federal security chiefs and a senior Peshmerga delegation to discuss operational coordination and military cooperation between federal and regional forces.
The meeting, attended by leaders from Intelligence, National Security, Counter-Terrorism, and Border Ports agencies, evaluated security protocols across shared areas of interest and border checkpoints to stop cross-border smuggling and illegal infiltration. Discussions also focused on intelligence sharing to disrupt narcotics networks, organizing joint military drills, and establishing mechanisms for extraditing fugitives, culminating in agreed recommendations to bolster overall stability.
