The residence of Abdul Baqi Al-Omari, head of the Integrity Committee at the Dhi Qar Provincial Council, came under gunfire by an armed group on Thursday, according to an informed source.
The source said the attack left one person inside the residence injured, while details surrounding the incident and those responsible remain unclear.
