The Arab League has strongly denounced an attempted Houthi ballistic missile strike on the Madinah region, describing it as a serious act of aggression that threatens Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.
In a statement, the League stressed that targeting Madinah constitutes an affront to the feelings of Muslims worldwide. It also warned that continued attacks could widen regional tensions, jeopardize security and stability across the region, and undermine ongoing efforts to prevent further escalation.
The League reaffirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, expressing support for the legitimate steps taken by the Kingdom to counter threats and protect its territory, sovereignty and citizens.
