The Ministry of Youth and Sports, through its Department of Youth Culture and Arts and the Music and Singing Section, has organized two educational workshops at Tomouh Al-Mustaqbal and Al-Malikiya schools to introduce students to musical fundamentals and enhance their singing and artistic skills.

The first session focused on the basics of musical singing, with practical exercises in vocal performance and rhythm control. The second workshop addressed musical notation, including the different types of musical symbols, their meanings and time values, alongside introductory lessons on reading sheet music.

The workshops were delivered by trainers Sobhi Issam, Mohammed Hamza and Othail Saeed, with the participation of students interested in music.

The initiative is part of the department’s efforts to strengthen musical awareness within schools, identify emerging talents and nurture students’ vocal abilities, artistic skills and creative potential.
