Sotheby’s to Auction Rare Collection of Impressionist Masterpieces in New York

Sotheby’s is set to auction a private collection of 12 paintings by leading Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artists in New York this November, featuring works by Vincent van Gogh, Paul Cézanne and Claude Monet.

The collection is expected to fetch around $450 million, while several of the paintings were recently unveiled to the media in London, offering a rare glimpse of artworks that have remained largely out of public view for many years.
