Sharjah is preparing to host the 12th edition of the Sharjah Calligraphy Forum on Wednesday, bringing together 272 artists and showcasing 681 artworks over a programme spanning more than 45 days. The event will feature 26 exhibitions and 93 cultural and artistic activities, exploring the dialogue between traditional Arabic calligraphy and contemporary creative practices, alongside workshops and discussions focusing on the art form’s evolution and growing role in the cultural scene.
