Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, was targeted in a Russian ballistic missile attack that caused injuries and material damage, as powerful explosions were heard across parts of the city.
The Kyiv military administration said the strikes hit private residences and a fuel station east of the Dnipro River. Eyewitnesses reported hearing loud blasts as the attack unfolded.
Meanwhile, video footage recorded by an eyewitness in one of Kyiv’s districts captured the initial moments of the Russian missile assault. The recording showed a person quickly moving away from a car as an explosion occurred, highlighting the intensity of the attack on the Ukrainian capital.
