Rafidain Bank announced on Tuesday that it has begun disbursing semi-annual interest payments to holders of the first issue of “Emaar” bonds, in line with the approved payment schedule.
In a statement, the bank said the move reflects its commitment to serving bondholders and strengthening investor confidence in government debt instruments. It noted that the payments cover interest due on bonds valued at one million Iraqi dinars, with payments made every six months over a four-year period, in accordance with the issuance terms.
The bank urged eligible bondholders to visit its branches in Baghdad and other provinces to collect their financial entitlements, stressing its commitment to simplifying payment procedures and completing transactions promptly.
