Rafidain Bank has rejected reports alleging a suspension of its electronic payment systems, stressing that salaries for employees and retirees continue to be disbursed regularly through smart-card payment outlets.
The bank said its banking systems are operating steadily as it continues to upgrade its technological infrastructure in cooperation with specialized electronic payment and oversight entities, with the aim of improving transaction security and efficiency.
Rafidain Bank urged citizens and media outlets to disregard unverified reports and rely on the bank’s official statements for accurate information.
