Kuwait’s General Staff of the Armed Forces said on Thursday that its air-defense systems successfully intercepted a number of missiles and drones launched as part of an Iranian attack.
In a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the General Staff said the interception operations were successful and reassured citizens and residents that there was no cause for concern. It added that explosions heard in several parts of Kuwait were caused by air-defense operations against the incoming targets.
