Oil production has resumed across Iraqi Kurdistan, with the exception of the Sarsang field, which remains offline after suffering damage from several drone strikes.
According to the Iraqi News Agency, current production stands at between 220,000 and 230,000 barrels per day, with part of the output allocated to domestic consumption.
The resumption comes amid the wider impact of the regional war and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which caused a sharp decline in Iraq’s oil exports from an average of around 3.4 million barrels per day before the conflict.
