Four members of the same Palestinian family were killed after an Israeli airstrike hit a home in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, early Thursday, as attacks on residential areas intensified across the enclave over the past two days.

Health officials said the victims included a man, his wife and their two daughters, aged 8 and 12. Their bodies were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, while several other Palestinians were reportedly injured in the attack.

Residents and medics said Israeli forces had targeted at least six homes in different parts of Gaza over the past two days. Nearby homes and tents housing displaced families were also damaged, forcing additional families to leave their locations.
