Iraqi Oil Minister Bassem Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi participated in the OPEC+ consultative meeting held alongside Energy Week in Riyadh, where officials discussed developments in global oil markets and measures to support market balance and stability.
In a statement, the Ministry of Oil said the meeting addressed several strategic priorities, including energy security, encouraging investment in the oil industry, and upgrading infrastructure to improve its resilience in dealing with crises and unexpected challenges.
The minister was accompanied by Ali Nizar Al-Shatri, Director General of the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO), and Alaa Al-Yasiri, Director General of the Economic Department.
