The Iraqi Football Association announced on Sunday that Al-Madina Stadium in Baghdad will allocate equal sections of its stands to supporters of Al-Talaba, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, Al-Zawraa, and Al-Shorta during their upcoming matches in the 11th round of the Iraq Stars League.

The measure forms part of the association’s efforts to encourage fans to return to stadiums and increase attendance and engagement throughout the domestic league.

Officials have also agreed that the return fixtures involving the four clubs will be held at either Al-Madina Stadium or Al-Shaab International Stadium, providing suitable conditions for supporters to attend and back their respective teams.

Al-Zawraa, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, Al-Talaba, and Al-Shorta are among Iraq’s most popular football clubs, each enjoying a substantial fan following.
