Iraqi and Arab artists attending the Nineveh International Film Festival have voiced their admiration for Mosul’s ongoing urban development and reconstruction, noting that the progress they witnessed surpassed their expectations, particularly given the image of the city shaped by years of war and destruction.

The artists commended Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil for his efforts to accelerate reconstruction, bring about significant urban improvements, and strengthen the city’s cultural and artistic scene by supporting creative activities and events.

They also expressed their gratitude to the governor and Mosul’s residents for their warm reception and generous hospitality, saying the visible progress reflects a new phase of recovery and the city’s renewed vitality.
