Singapore’s oil product inventories rose by 0.9% in the week ending October 28, 2026, reaching 38.49 million barrels, supported by an increase in clean distillate stocks, according to government data released Thursday.
The data placed Iraq second among Singapore’s naphtha suppliers, with shipments totaling 30,000 metric tons. Brunei ranked first, supplying approximately 37,000 metric tons.
Iraq also remained among the prominent Middle Eastern suppliers of fuel oil to Singapore, alongside Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Total fuel oil imports increased by 19.1%, surpassing 1.15 million metric tons during the week.
Middle distillate inventories, which include diesel, gasoil and jet fuel, climbed to around 8.5 million barrels, compared with 8.31 million barrels in the preceding week.
Stocks of light distillates, including naphtha and gasoline, rose to 11.304 million barrels, marking their highest level in two weeks. Meanwhile, residual fuel oil inventories fell by 0.9% to 18.68 million barrels.
Singapore remains a major Asian center for oil product trading and storage. Its inventory figures and import flows consequently provide important insights into regional fuel market conditions and supply trends.
