Iraq has begun implementing new measures aimed at simplifying entry procedures for Jordanian nationals, following directives from Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, according to an informed Iraqi source.

Under the new arrangements, Jordanian citizens can obtain entry visas upon arrival at Iraqi airports and border crossings without having to secure them in advance. They can also travel to Iraq using their own vehicles or by air.

The source noted that the decision is part of the outcomes of Al-Zaidi’s recent visit to Jordan, which also resulted in reciprocal travel arrangements for Iraqis. Iraqi citizens can now obtain Jordanian entry visas upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport.
