Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the death toll from a Russian attack on an ammunition facility in the Kyiv region has climbed to 38, while four people remain missing.

The strike late Friday hit a military site containing ammunition, artillery shells, mines and drones. Emergency crews are continuing to put out fires and clear debris from the damaged area.

Zelenskyy said Russia launched intensive attacks across Ukraine last week, using around 2,000 attack drones, 1,600 aerial bombs and 31 missiles, and vowed that Kyiv would respond to the strikes.
