Coventry is hosting the 10th edition of the British Art Show, featuring works by 37 artists across three cultural venues under the theme “A Chorus of Strangers.”
The exhibition brings together a broad mix of painting, sculpture, photography, sound art and multimedia installations, examining themes such as identity, belonging, migration and social diversity.
Rather than offering a single narrative of contemporary British art, the show presents a range of perspectives on Britain’s changing society, touching on migration, colonial legacies, urban life, protest and wider social transformations.
The exhibition will remain in Coventry until January 2027, before continuing its tour to other cities across the UK.
