Financial markets in Baghdad and Erbil saw a fresh uptick in US dollar exchange rates against the Iraqi dinar as Sunday’s trading came to a close.

Market figures indicated that Baghdad's key trading hubs, Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya, wrapped up the day at 155,750 IQD per $100, climbing from the morning baseline of 154,900 IQD. The surge filtered directly into local exchange outlets across the capital, where selling rates climbed to 156,250 IQD per $100 and buying rates held at 155,250 IQD.

Erbil’s currency market mirrored the same upward momentum toward the close, with retail selling prices settling at 155,250 IQD per $100 and buying rates standing at 155,200 IQD.
