Egyptian star Amr Diab has added another achievement to his career after Guinness World Records documented his record of spending 69 weeks at No. 1 on the Artist 100 chart.

The record was documented after Diab reached 64 weeks at the top as of May 30, 2026. He later reclaimed the No. 1 spot for another five weeks, taking his total to 69 weeks.

Diab’s time at the top has been divided into six separate runs since January 2024. His longest streak lasted 36 consecutive weeks beginning on April 12, 2025. His latest return to the top coincided with the release of his album “Habeetak” during the summer of 2026.

His total had reached 66 weeks at No. 1 in July before he continued adding further weeks to his record.

After receiving his Guinness World Records plaque, Diab credited his achievement to his fans, saying that audience engagement and their appreciation of his music remain among the most important measures of success for him. He also highlighted his ongoing efforts to develop his musical style and diversify his work.

Diab has also made an impact on the Billboard Arabia Hot 100, where his song “Baba” spent eight non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 in 2025.

Since the launch of the Artist 100 chart in December 2023, Diab has remained on the list throughout its first 128 weeks, making him one of only six artists to maintain an uninterrupted presence.

He currently ranks second on the chart, with 69 weeks at No. 1 and 145 weeks overall, adding another milestone to his Guinness record and long-standing music career.
