US President Donald Trump said Sunday that the war with Iran could come to an end either before the US midterm elections or shortly afterward.
Trump said Tehran was seeking a deal, while stressing that Washington would not accept an agreement that does not serve its interests. He reiterated that Iran would not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon.
Separately, Trump urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to halt attacks targeting diesel facilities in Russia.
