U.S. President Donald Trump has rejected reports that Washington offered Iran a proposal aimed at ending the war, insisting that claims about easing sanctions and releasing frozen Iranian funds in exchange for concessions on the nuclear issue were inaccurate.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump described the reports as “not true” and said he had “offered them nothing.”

The reports, citing unnamed U.S. officials, said the Trump administration could be willing to ease sanctions on Tehran and allow the release of frozen Iranian assets as part of a final agreement, provided Iran made tangible progress on its nuclear program.

Trump said preventing Iran from developing a nuclear weapon remains a central objective of the war, alongside restricting its ability to launch attacks against neighboring countries and creating conditions that could enable Iranians to change the ruling regime.
