joint security force from Diyala Police and the provincial Intelligence and Counterterrorism Directorate arrested a suspect wanted on terrorism-related charges during an operation northeast of Baqubah on Sunday.
A security source told the Iraqi Press Agency that the arrest took place in Al-Abbara district, following precise intelligence and extensive field surveillance.
The source said the suspect was referred to the relevant authorities after the initial legal procedures were completed, with investigations and further legal measures to proceed in accordance with the law
