Oman has postponed a regional meeting scheduled for Monday in Salalah to discuss interim arrangements with Iran for managing maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi said the delay was intended to preserve consensus among the parties and create better conditions for reaching a common understanding, reaffirming Oman’s support for dialogue and regional stability.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry said the meeting was postponed at the request of several regional countries following a joint decision by Tehran and Muscat.
