The Board of Commissioners of the Communications and Media Commission has approved a set of regulatory and administrative decisions aimed at developing the media and telecommunications sectors. During its regular session, the Board discussed a draft regulatory framework for managing media coverage of million-person gatherings and major public events, aiming to elevate the mechanisms for broadcasting national and religious occasions. The decisions included forming a specialized committee to establish standards and guidelines for media appearances in alignment with professional contexts. In preparation for major religious events, approval was granted to allocate a shortcode for a lost persons guidance center to assist pilgrims, in addition to facilitating the entry of media professionals to ensure smooth coverage and adherence to approved protocols during the ceremonies.
