Israeli media reported Sunday evening that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a secret visit to Abu Dhabi, where he met with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed for discussions focused on what sources described as the “Iranian threat.”
According to Israel’s Channel 12, Netanyahu arrived in Abu Dhabi aboard a private jet in the morning and returned later the same day. The report said several aircraft were used by Netanyahu and members of his delegation as part of the trip.
Most of the discussions were reportedly held behind closed doors, with few details released publicly about the substance of the meeting.
The visit marks Netanyahu’s second trip to the UAE this year. His previous visit was announced by his office and took place during the Israeli military operation against Iran known as “Rising Lion.”
