Iraq’s Federal Ministry of Finance has issued a ministerial order introducing administrative changes at several institutions under its supervision, as part of efforts to improve operational efficiency and clarify administrative responsibilities.
The order ends Ahmed Jawad Hassan’s assignment as Director General of the Financial and Accounting Training Center, a position he had held through a temporary assignment from the Agricultural Cooperative Bank.
It also appoints Laith Mohammed Hussein, an accounts assistant manager at Rafidain Bank, to lead the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in an acting capacity for three months, pending completion of the necessary formal procedures.
The document states that the decisions take effect from the date of issuance and directs the relevant authorities to implement the required administrative measures.
The changes form part of the ministry’s efforts to reorganize its affiliated institutions, strengthen executive management, and reduce the practice of holding multiple administrative positions.
