The Iraqi Stars League returns on Wednesday following the international break, with the ninth round getting underway as Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya face Mosul at 6:00 p.m. at Duhok Stadium.
Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are looking to bounce back from an inconsistent run that resulted in the dismissal of Tunisian coach Fathi Al-Jabali. The club has turned to Rashid Jaber, who previously managed the side and led them to last season’s title, with hopes of restoring the team’s form and improving its results.
Mosul, meanwhile, will seek to produce a strong performance and come away with a positive result against the league contenders, a result that could improve their standing and provide further confidence for the matches ahead.
