Military spokesperson Major General Yahya Rasool detailed that the initiative aims to build a fully integrated, multi-layered air defense grid capable of handling short, medium, and long-range threats. While Iraq currently relies on high-efficiency French radar systems, technical delegations are actively engaging leading global defense firms to secure specialized equipment, paving the way for a major leap in Iraqi airspace security.
