German exports to Iraq totaled approximately $669 million during the first half of 2026, according to data released by Germany’s Federal Statistical Office.
The figures showed that exports were valued at around $284 million in the first quarter, rising to approximately $385 million in the second quarter.
Tractors represented the leading category among the German goods exported to Iraq, with a value of nearly $54 million. Other major exports included medicines and therapeutic and preventive preparations, vaccines, blood products and immune preparations, passenger vehicles, and medical and surgical equipment.
The export list also featured electrical control and distribution panels, packaging machinery, filtering and purification equipment, refrigeration equipment, refrigerators and freezers, in addition to a range of other products.
The data highlights the broad range of German goods entering the Iraqi market, particularly across the machinery and equipment, pharmaceutical and medical supplies, and automotive sectors.
