Erbil Polytechnic University on Tuesday held a scientific training course to explore the potential use of artificial intelligence in medicine under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Medicine: A Partnership for Life.”
The event focused on the role of emerging technologies in improving healthcare, detecting diseases at an early stage, and advancing diagnostic and treatment methods, as well as using AI to process and analyze large volumes of medical data.
Participants also discussed the development of smart healthcare systems that could help reduce medical errors, improve the efficiency of health institutions and accelerate patient recovery.
The participants called for continued scientific and training activities in this field to strengthen cooperation between the technology sector and healthcare institutions across the Kurdistan Region.
