At least 40 people, including children, were reported killed in a drone attack targeting the Abu Shandi area of Sudan’s Blue Nile State, according to a human rights group.

The Emergency Lawyers group accused the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of carrying out Friday’s strike, while the United Nations condemned the incident amid the ongoing armed conflict and worsening humanitarian crisis.
