The US dollar gained against the Iraqi dinar on Thursday, with exchange rates rising in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil compared with the morning session.

In Baghdad’s Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, the dollar climbed to 157,300 dinars per $100, up from 156,850 dinars earlier in the day.

At local exchange offices, the selling rate increased to 157,750 dinars per $100, while the buying rate reached 156,750 dinars.

In Erbil, the dollar was quoted at 157,400 dinars per $100 for selling and 157,350 dinars for buying.
