The US dollar exchange rate rose further against the Iraqi dinar in Baghdad and Erbil as trading closed on Monday, compared with the rates recorded earlier in the day.

In Baghdad, the dollar rate at the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges increased to 156,750 dinars per $100, up from around 156,000 dinars in the morning.

Local exchange offices also recorded higher rates, with the dollar selling for 157,250 dinars per $100, while the buying rate reached 156,250 dinars.

In Erbil, the dollar also moved higher, reaching a selling rate of 157,000 dinars per $100, while the buying rate stood at 156,950 dinars.
