This comes within a solid regulatory framework that keeps pace with global technological advancements and protects national interests. During the telecommunications summit, the executive body of the commission emphasized that the sector has become a fundamental sovereign pillar for the digital economy. It highlighted the shift towards improving service quality and expanding coverage through advanced technical oversight. The commission stressed the importance of integrating optical fiber projects, 5G technologies, and satellite communications to support the digital transformation journey and foster an investment environment based on fair and sustainable competition.
