Civil Aviation announced that an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh resulted in several injuries, as authorities continue efforts to establish the number of casualties and assess the damage.
The authority stated that airport operations had been temporarily halted to allow a comprehensive assessment of the damage and ensure the safety of airport facilities, in coordination with the relevant authorities. The suspension will remain in place until the necessary checks are completed.
The authority had earlier reported that Houthi attacks targeting the airport between October 6 and 8 resulted in four fatalities and left several other people injured.
