Head of the Construction and Development Coalition Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani discussed with Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq Ahmed Khafaja the possibility of developing joint partnerships to transport Iraqi crude oil to Egypt for use in petrochemical plants, alongside efforts to broaden industrial cooperation.
Al-Sudani said the second and third sessions of the Higher Joint Committee between Iraq and Egypt, held in Cairo in 2023 and Baghdad in 2025 respectively, resulted in the signing of several cooperation agreements and documents between the two countries.
He expressed his support for the current government’s efforts to build on these achievements and sustain the momentum of bilateral relations across various sectors.
